Shibarmy News: Dream Big: Breaking Down Shytoshi Kusama’s Vision for Shiba Inu’s Future
xplaining Shytoshi Kusama’s Latest Blog Post: What It Means for Shiba Inu and Beyond
A recent blog post from Shytoshi Kusama, a principal of the Shiba Inu ecosystem, provides a deep dive into the project’s next stage of evolution. This blockbuster post is packed with not-your-everyday plans, which, if successfully executed, could significantly change Shiba Inu’s standing in the broader blockchain space. Here, we break down the post’s key themes and what they could mean for the crypto community.
Why Ask “Why”?
Kusama’s blog begins with a simple yet profound question: Why? Why prepare for what could likely turn out to be a world dominated by AI? Why can’t we have a thriving multichain technology? Why can’t we have innovative solutions that pay fair rewards to creators, that offer real paths to decentralized governance, and that work across platforms? These are more than just rhetorical questions. They’re the Shiba Inu network’s raison d’être. Answering them gives the ecosystem and its next steps some sort of intellectual foundation.
These inquiries aim at a clear purpose: they hope to stimulate the kind of readily apparent innovative thinking necessary to make Shiba Inu not just a meme coin, but a real cryptocurrency that can serve a real hub for solving real-world problems, using the kinds of decentralized tools that blockchain technology makes possible. In this way, the Shiba Inu ecosystem hopes to drive innovation and achieve the kinds of outcomes that might someday make blockchain enthusiasts hail Shiba Inu as a trailblazing project.

The 36 Chambers of Tech: Shiba Inu’s Game-Changing Arsenal
A standout revelation in the blog is the idea of the 36 Chambers of Tech, a formidable, modular stack of technologies that serves a variety of applications. The chambers contain tools for AI integration, fully homomorphic encryption (FHE), decentralized identity systems, metaverse applications, and Web3 gaming, to name just a few.
This Shiba Inu blockchain isn’t merely about internal projects. It’s about way more. It’s about letting businesses, startups, cities, and even governments transition—not trip, tumble, and fall—into Web3. Then somehow, some way, Kusama, his team, and Shib’s legions convert “Powered by Shib” into a phrase so common, so sandwiched in between the nouns of the mundane and the fabulous, that it might as well be in the Constitution as the preamble to something that signals Shiba Inu has gone national and, indeed, international.
These technologies were born in hard market conditions. That alone speaks to the dedication of the team. It shows Shiba Inu’s indelible commitment to innovation that’s beyond hype.
The WHY Combinator: Empowering Purpose-Driven Projects
Much of the blog focuses on introducing the WHY Combinator, a decentralized incubator program for identifying and supporting projects with a clear, purpose-driven direction. The simple guiding question is: Why should this project exist?
The WHY Combinator picks projects with a “meaningful impact and longevity,” said Tali G. Sweeney, who is one of the Shytoshi Kusama pseudonyms and a chief interpreter of Shiba Inu’s teachings. The picked projects are supposed to work in two ways: to contribute to Shiba Inu’s eco-system and to show how the currencies and technologies that are a part of Shiba Inu serve a purpose in the real world.
This method has a twofold advantage. It pulls in developers and entrepreneurs with an unmistakable mission while at the same time directing value and user adoption back into the ecosystem. It is a sustainable growth model that aligns with Shiba Inu’s vision of community-driven development.
TREAT: Incentivizing Engagement and Participation
The blog further explains TREAT, a token concocted to incentivize user engagement in the Shiba Inu ecosystem. Short for “Transactional Rewards for Engagement & Access Token,” TREAT is supposed to push even more participation across the many Shiba Inu projects. Users will be rewarded weekly with what’s being called a “TREATDrop.” To receive a TREATDrop, users must engage with either the Shiba Inu Metaverse, or one of its NFT collections, or do some other form of labor in the Shiba Inu ecosystem.
This innovative approach to token utility is all about ensuring engaged community members and attracting new participants. And TREAT has the potential to be something very special in that regard. By tying rewards to “meaningful interaction,” TREAT could well be a powerful tool fostering long-term loyalty and adoption within the community.

Expanding BONE’s Utility: More Than Just Gas
The blog has revealed that BONE, the gas token for Shibarium, is experiencing a substantial jump in new utilities. Among these is the potential that now exists for BONE to help support rollups—scalable Layer 2 solutions that process transactions more efficiently and effectively while settling those transactions on Shibarium. This development positions Shibarium as a potential hub for scalable blockchain solutions, which should drive the token’s usage and adoption.
Shibarium’s transformation into a data availability layer (DAL) is another significant innovation. This separation of data storage from transaction execution augments Shibarium’s scalability and efficiency. By enhancing those two vital components, Shibarium can now support more ambitious decentralized applications (dApps).
Moreover, Shibarium will work with Chainlink to allow BONE to interact with other chains, something not all projects can do. It’s not that BONE will be able to do this and nothing else. Allowing BONE to interact with other chains is another way of saying BONE will be useful in more places, for more people, more often.
A Technological Leap Forward
The blog of Kusama highlights that the advancements made by the Shiba Inu team are not simply in place to allow Shiba Inu to keep pace with its larger competitors but to outstrip them. They have accomplished this feat, despite resource limitations, by developing a full-scale technological ecosystem that stands with the best in the business.
What we have in the combination of the 36 Chambers of Tech, the WHY Combinator, TREAT, and the BONE’s expanded utilities is a significant leap forward. These innovations are not mere incremental improvements—they’re transformative changes that very much place Shiba Inu at the forefront of decentralized technology.
What This Means for the Shiba Inu Community
These developments are a call to action for the Shiba Inu community. The ecosystem’s growth hinges on our collective participation. That means developers have to build on Shibarium, and users have to engage with the network’s various offerings. And make no mistake. User engagement is a vital ingredient. This is an area where our network is still finding its legs. We recently launched a development contest (with somewhat interesting prizes!) to solicit fresh ideas for how we might meaningfully engage Shiba Inu community members on the network.
Kusama’s blog posts aren’t mere updates—they’re manifestos for the appearance and operation of Shiba Inu going forward. They not only tell the community what Shiba Inu’s developers are up to but also cast a grand vision of what’s possible—along with some truly insane (in a good way) ideas. Here’s how the most recent post goes about doing all that.
As Kusama himself might say: Let them sleep while we dream big.
