SHIB  The Metaverse has made significant progress since its last blog post. The project has achieved many milestones, such as events, team structural changes, new designs for specific hubs, and updates to the project’s roadmap and vision. The project’s aim is to keep its community informed about its development progress, and this blog is the primary conduit for such information.

The vision and direction of SHIB – The Metaverse has undergone significant changes to provide users with a more photorealistic experience. The MV team has adapted their existing development work and is now building new hubs from this new starting point. The team is developing a series of tools for the first version of the Metaverse, which will provide users with endless possibilities, such as plot builder, avatar builder, and game maker.

The plot builder tool allows users to create and customize their plots by building from scratch with various pre-built pieces, placing complete pre-built objects such as buildings, trees, and decorations, adjusting terrain and adding interactive elements. Users can monetize their creations by selling or renting their plots, charging entry fees, and/or adding advertising. Users can publish their plots, making them accessible for other users to visit, explore, and interact with.

The avatar builder allows users to create a unique digital identity with a wide set of personalization options, from pre-made templates to customizable body features, facial elements, hairstyles, clothing, and accessories. Users will have every opportunity to express their individual style by using both photorealistic or stylized avatars.

The game-maker tool has yet to be revealed, but the team has promised to provide all the details in the next blog.

Rocket Pond will be the next hub revealed. It is a hub that will take users to new heights, quite literally! The MV team has provided sneak peeks of the first previews of Rocket Pond.

The MV team showcased their Wagmi pre-alpha immersive piece at the SXSW experience to gather feedback on the definition of the metaverse. The team’s presence at the event aimed to build the community and increase awareness of SHIB – The Metaverse’s concept. They aimed to join an already established community and showcase their vibrant and active movement. By doing so, they were able to establish a feedback loop for any new technology or platform.
