Although it does not come as a surprise, this is massive news for the entire Shiba Inu Ecosystem as one of the largest central exchanges lists $BONE.

The reason that it is no surprise is that the onboarding for Shibarium is now in full swing with thousands of applications now being submitted. Shibarium is one of the most anticipated L2’s to ever be launched in the crypto space.

What is Shibarium, the platform associated with Shiba Inu? Shiba Inu is one of the many tokens built on the Ethereum platform using ERC-20. However, ETH’s gas fees for transactions, such as buying or selling tokens, can be exorbitant, which can discourage investors. Gas fees are affected by the number of transactions per second on the congested ETH network.

To address this issue, Ryoshi, the founder of SHIB, envisioned Shibarium, a layer-2 blockchain network that operates independently of the ETH network. Shibarium will be SHIB’s blockchain and will serve as a platform for all transactions. The creation of this new layer-2 network will reduce ETH gas fees on the Ethereum network and provide users with a more cost-effective and in-house platform for all transactional needs.

This move will save users money and allow them to invest more money rather than spend it on expensive gas fees. Shibarium uses BONE as its primary token pair to facilitate all transactions.

We expect $BONE to be listed on many exchanges within the next couple of months. There is some news we could report on but it is not yet officially announced. Keep your eyes open as BONE is the gas for SHIBARIUM.
