Shib Army News: Shiba Inu Only Has 5 Official Core Tokens 2 Of Which Are Not Yet Live. Be Careful

An onslaught of new tokens has been coming to the market pretending to either be official tokens or changing their names to sound the same. There have been multiple variations of very similar tokens looking to take advantage of the Shib Army by either using similar names or claiming to be part of the ecosystem.

It seems as if the closer Shib Inu gets to launching Shibarium the more these issues are popping up. So let’s take a look a bit deeper into what is going on. When we look at DEXtools we can see multiple Shibarium tokens. This is a pure scam as there is no token called Shibarium or any other variation of the name that has been put up by the Shiba Inu Ecosystem. This also goes for duplicate Bone Tokens, Treat Tokens, Shib Tokens, SHI Tokens, and Leash tokens. In fact, SHI and Treat have not yet been launched so they do not exist yet. Other tokens also seem to be popping up claiming to be part of the Shiba Inu Ecosystem. Though some of these projects may be good, once they claim to be part of the Shiba Inu Ecosystem officially it raises questions. Why if they are a good project are they trying to work around the fact that they are not official? Even ShibArmy.co News site and the upcoming Shib Army VIP social network are not official projects nor do we claim to be. That means that they are trying to leach from the Shib Army by acts of deception. Now, that being said many projects plan on building on top of Shibarium. Does this mean they are bad projects? Absolutely not. But almost all of the Good projects do not claim to be part of the official ecosystem.

Always refer to Ryoshi’s vision.

Some people are using the argument that these are just Non-Core tokens because Ryoshi used the word “Core”. In their argument, they tend to leave out the word “Ecosystem”. This is understood as it would mean that the CORE ECOSYSTEM TOKENS. The only official ecosystem tokens according to the original vision by Ryoshi are Shib, Bone, Leash, Treat and SHI.  Could you imagine if Ryoshis vision had hundreds of tokens for the ecosystem? Do you know how Diluted the market would be as it is spread out across hundreds of tokens?

Finally a new trick by tokens seems to be that they are trying to spoof the deployer wallet. So whether it is investing in Shiba Inu, another token, coins, or stock always make sure to do your due diligence. This can save you a major headache and financial problems in the future. There are many good projects out there just make sure that what you read is accurate and that they are not trying to mislead you.
