Huge News! SlingTV to Accept Shiba Inu & Other Crypto Currencies
Sling TV, the streaming service in the USA, is owned by its parent company DishNetwork. They currently have over 2 Million US Subscribers. The announcement was welcoming news as they stated they will be partnering with Bitpay to accept Shiba Inu and other cryptocurrencies.
For right now when they start the program this payment option is only going to be available to existing customers but then later on to new customers as well. You can still subscribe now and then after your first month will be able to use crypto to pay for your subscription through Bitpay.
Being one of the largest and oldest streaming services in the USA, this gives more utility to coins that are accepted by Bitpay. The first accepted payments by SLING are reported to be Shiba In, Litecoin, Bitcoin, Ethereum Wrapped Bitcoin, and 5 stable coins.
Because of the nature of crypto auto-renewals will not be possible although you can pay manually each month. They are trying to find a workaround for this but for now, you can pay between One and Six months in advance.
Sling has set up a page that you can find HERE if you have trouble understanding how to use Crypto payments with the service.
